Hello all,

I've picked up BB again after a number of years and have maybe a couple of suggestions that could be implemented after the code change.

Most new players want to buy at least some players and compete which is not optimal strategy in game as ideally new players invest them all in arena and structures, especially now given that there is even more stuff to build.

My suggestion is that a reduced salary floor is introduced for new players - say between 35-50% of what the salary floor would be after the 24 weeks. But this would last longer, say around three seasons rather than 24 weeks. This would not punish new players that impulse buy players and would give some flexibility to the optimisation strategy of new players so that new players can spend some money on the team rather than only investing.

I believe this would make the game more fun for new players, especially if we discuss the exact financials of it a bit more.

But isn't that the fun part though to figure out how to find the balance of making long term investments in arena and finding a capable squad that can win you games even from early on? However I can imagine, that beginning in the second tier of Nations of Europe can be tough, as you have quite a few strong opponents there. Perhaps these composite nations would need some sort of adjustments to reel in new players, because when beginning in a larger nation, you still will have lots of opponents that you can beat with minor investments into the squad.

Not at all unfortunately. For example, I'm making 400k a week right now because I do not have any salary (180k less than salary cap), my arena income is now above league average (and can still go higher) but I don't care about winning and will not face boycott because there will always be some players that will be inactive in the early leagues. So by not prioritising my team at all I can just put all the resources into the arena and its structures. While for me this is not an issue because I can very much think long term and handle the losses but most new players (especially if they're younger) would not find this entertaining and fun at all.
