His potential is only interesting if it is reasonable to reach up to it within a reasonable time frame. It will take a lot of time to train him to a level which is interesting. Many are still interested in buying players with a low capacity but a high potential.

And that his market value is far from what you are asking from must be pretty obvious for you as you paid almost nothing for the player and suddenly is a bit disappointed that you are not able to sell him for 37.5 times higher price than you paid even if you have not trained the player since you bought him. I expect the market value of your player to be at most the price you bought the player for but if you keep trading him you might be able to make at least a small profit on him as someone might believe that his potential is of higher importance than it is. I very much doubt that the daytrading strategy you have chosen is profitable on the long run but you are free to test your way of playing the game and I will go for my own where I never would use daytrading even if I found a way of making it profitable.

And for all fellow managers that jugded me hard the last few weeks about this type of player selling price:

There have been 12 recent transfers of 19 year old point guards with respectable passing and MVP potential. Of these, the ones with skills most similar to Sven Öst have been selling for around $ 5 000 to $ 100 000.He was acquired by the current owner 29 days ago (on 20/08/2015) for $ 4 000.

His true value is very likely to be close to the lower level as those comparisons take very little value in how well trained the player is. With atrocious OD your player should have very low interest among people who can valuate the value decently well. You will almost have to put one seasons training only to repair that weakness. His jump shot, inside skills and stamina also hurts him in comparisons with other players with respectable passing and MVP potential but not even comparable with his poor OD.

So your transfer compare do not fairly compare him with similar players to him. Had he been among the best with such skills it would have mention that there is few comparable players but those closest are valued to $ to $.

Not even if you manage to sell your player for the listed price would you prove anything besides that you managed to fool a newbie to overpay for the player. If you get an experienced manager to pay that prize you might have decent evidence for making your point.

Good luck in keep trying to find a manager that is willing to overpay for your player. The Swedish community consists of few managers and it is therefore quite unlikely that you will find a buyer for your player for that price.

Jag kan lägga till att Håkan har tränat så bra denna säsong så han är en av de bättre 21 åringarna vi har i Sverige!
Han borde attrahera många som vill ha en spelare till sitt lag som ska vara stabil framöver!

Nu har jag 1.6 mille att slösa på 2-3 trainees i början på nästa säsong
