This is just one more example that the new owners suck and have no respect for their user base. If this is an example of their business practices and ethics, then this game is doomed to fail which is sad.

It's really disappointing that there has been no official explanation about the server outage here on the game's forum. I understand that during the downtime, communication through the game itself wasn't possible, but once the issue was resolved, the least you could do is provide an update here.

Not everyone uses Discord, and no one should be forced to look for answers outside the official game channels. If external platforms are used for communication, they should be an additional option, not the primary source of information. Please show more respect for the community by keeping us informed where it matters most.

To some extent, the outage couldn't be messaged on the BB website or forums during the outage, since the outage was a total Internet service failure at the hosting provider.

I do agree that an after-restoration message in an official in-game channel should have been made, though in fairness service was restored after 3am CET.

They have the tool to explain in news items what has happened if they do not want to use the forum. On the official discrod there are in total 139 users, on buzzerbeater we are about 13 thousand users. That means that on discord there are 1.069% of the total number of users. I pay supporter (on top of that the Spanish community have raised the price since the Italians entered) and the minimum is to have a communication inside the game to explain me what has happened.

I don‘t like discord at all. I‘ve unistalled it from my phone. Alongside the BB-App for the time being. I like to use the BB in-game-forums a lot. Not because they‘re great to look at or easy to navigate. But you get used to it - and there are a lot of nice discussions on the forums, managers teasing each other in leagues and federations. If they really cut the forums from BB, I’m most likely out of here, they don‘t really understand what makes this game special to me. The communication IN-GAME is a very important aspect of the game.

And I‘m also very surprised that they didn‘t post a „news message“ after the downtime. And neither one with updates for offseason processing like in the past. Nothing like „the site may be slow but on the bright side, the draftees are arriving“.

I‘m very disappointed that they‘ve taken communication away from the game to a seperate location. Excluding people like me who love this game but don‘t like to use discord (or whatever else there might be).

I guess I‘m a minority, not part of the group they are going to target…can‘t be helped, I‘m still sad (and a bit angry) right now…
