yes, it is a tough league, was here 2 seasons ago, 7 or 8 of the same teams. Good luck to you also! I'm on the fence whether I should keep the team intact or rebuild?

well, I'm a 90% homegrown team, so, not really looking to add players via TL, just grow and develop my team myself. So I'm basically rebuilding until you see like 4 35k+ guys on my roster. My salary is about 1/2 of the league's floor, So just make sure you don't lose relegation to me no matter what you do. Drafted a solid base C.. which has me questioning my course of taking my one G to 15/15 JS/JR by seasons end plan, or to do a plan more base around the C, which still works to a degree for the G, but doesn't get him anywhere near the 15/15.

Was not expecting to promote to a league where the average team salary is 4x my team's. Lol.

LOL, I'm also home grown, only USA and only 2 on my roster weren't drafted by me. It's very hard to train an entire team that can compete with the bought teams, I guess that's why so many structure their teams that way. I'm trying to slowly configure a solid team that can compete at this level, takes quite few seasons and player turn around. :)

It can be done. I did it back in the S20s and made it to D. II where I held on for 3 seasons before relegating. The training methods needed to sustain it now are better than before.

When I did it before. Essentially I could only draft players 6’4-6’9 and they all trained the exact same. Otherwise it wouldn’t work.. now it’s a bit easier to not be limited to only “SF” heights and still pull it off.

Glad to meet another homegrown!

Welcome to the new teams and good luck!

I'm entering my 4th season as a fully homegrown team. With salaries on the rise, I feel like this is the year I need to start making a push to win it all.

Homegrown: "USA only"
or
"homegrown": I don't use the TL and draft all my players myself?

What exactly do you mean by that? Training is a bit vague and abstract but somewhat predictable, at least it seems that way to me.

My team - compared to every other in the league - is lacking in "handling" and other "offensive flow" related skills. I finally got my (was working on Jump Range) Range to where I wanted to get before switching to different skills. So from here, my offensive flow and efficiency should increase, fairly significantly, on a weekly basis.
