9 out of the 10 players on the Points Per Game leaderboard are outside players.

Team of the season so far : kwaiwah
Went from Div III to Div II in his first full season, then from Div II straight into the MBBA the following season. Heck, even I thought it was too fast and expected him to struggle with relegation. Reminded me of Icarus in Greek mythology where he flew too close to the sun. But he's done incredibly well so far playing sniper, taking points where he can and recuperating where he can't. He's working with a sub-standard squad by MBBA levels, yet the results don't lie. Brilliant match-management.

Damientor deserves a mention here. After a couple of promotions/relegations from the MBBA, this is a completely different team to what we've seen during their debut in the MBBA. No longer the relegation favourites, they are now threatening to break the Great 8 playoff spot monopoly of the Stuporsonics, Reds, Fusion and Ginakia.

Like it or not, this is definitely the season to look out for the new boys, whether in the league or the Cup.

My sniping days are up. The next few weeks I will be playing against the top teams of MBBA. The difference in player skills (salary) is too huge to ignore.

My only chance is prob only if these teams use their backup players and TIE against me (eg. my match against KMC RA on 27th June when he had to ensure he had his starter for his match against Pee Jay Reds for the league game and Too Cool for the Cup match)

Here is my current rating of the top teams in MBBA (based on sum of top 2 inside players and top 2 outside player salary):

3. Nick of Time ------------ ($152K) Big 8
4. Boombastic ------------- ($151K) Great 8
5. Damientor -------------- ($148K) Great 8
6. RAAF Golden Eagles -- ($147K) Great 8
7. Ginakia ------------------ ($140K) Great 8
8. RedDevilz Basketball -- ($131K) Great 8
9. Arowana Kings --------- ($127K) Big 8
10. KMC RA ---------------- ($120K) Big 8

And my next 6 league matches are all from the above list. Expect to see my standings drop in the weeks to come :P

Note: my team is only ($59K) half of the top 10.

Apologies. It seems my rating is 1 week old. This week KMC RA bought a $26K SG for $2.5M thus bumping his rating up. The list has been updated as follows:

With Ginakia's 85K Center, he has jumped 4 spots to #2. Arowana Kings also bought a 20K Center thus jumping by 2 spots.

Looks like the gap between #1 and #2 has reduced from $46K to only $34K.

I need to get out of this Top Ten list. Not at all good for the club finances.
