Quick question, does the last place team in each conference get relegated, or how do they do the matchups?

Both 8th place teams are sent down a level automatically.....6 and 7 play eachother to see who is relegated

Both 8's get relegated.

6th Big v. 7th Great - loser in 3-game series gets relegated
