Steals are not considered to be one of the 3 or 4 most significant stats in basketball.
If they were to add something, it would probably be - well, they don't need to with BB-stats.

I would love to see steals incorporated. I always been a fan of steals stats.

The top 3 stats are obviously ppg, apg and rpg, but spg, bpg and fg% are very important stats that most media use a lot when covering basketball. I think the more statistics the better, I'd love to see ft%, PER, efg%, ass/to, rebound % etc as well. There can't be too many stats.

When it comes to rankings, ppg, apg, and rpg are the big ones. Steals and blocks are popular as well, but everything else is clearly secondary. Though I agree, there can't be too many stats. This has been brought to the attention of the BB team previously, and improvements in this area are being considered, though there is no telling when they might be implemented.

Of course you can always derive the stats yourself, so there isn't really a big problem, but it would be neat to have them available along with the other stats. Especially PER, efg% and assist/turnover are very useful stats that I think most people would appreciate.

if u say that rebounds are primary stats why are they not even on the player stats page this is a big problem to me an way we could put this in the game

Rebounds are definitely on player stat pages.

I don't support this is as long as leaders boards are part of merchandising formulas and Full Court Press tactic can be used. For some kind of overview i don't care, but something like this is already in the menu of each legue - then just click on abbreviation for steals.

ain't the small laders also part of the Merchandise?

And already the stats are affected from the chososen tactics, and i think the fcp is a good one because it is fast which means more points, more rebounds, more assist ;)
