The changes planned in the upcoming season reads:
As BuzzerBeater has grown in global prominence, fans have begun to buy more merchandise and do things like wearing jerseys of their favorite BuzzerBeater players. However, many fans prefer to wear jerseys of players who they grew up in their own country, particularly those who wear the national team jersey, and so starting in Season 10, teams will find that merchandising revenue is higher for domestic players, and particularly if they have a player on their team who is talented and famous enough to sell jerseys to fans outside of their local market. Of course, even if he wasn't originally local, an international superstar will continue to sell jerseys as long as he's putting up good numbers.
Does this mean that the Merchandise revenue will be different each week, opposed to the TV Contracts which are set at the start of each season?
