If I went into tomorrow night's game without any lineup, would that mean the AI would handle everything -- starters, rotation, time? I know there is no way to avoid determining tactics, but would the AI adjust its decisions to the tactics? (That is, let's say I select Princeton as my offense and Full Court Press as my defense, would the AI then choose the most appropriate lineup for those tactics, or would the lineup selected be more mechanically selected, and be the same for Look Inside as Run and Gun?) I know what I am suggesting is dangerously close to a "computer managed team", which has driven one team in our conference straight into the toilet. But in some ways I would like to know what the objective AI thought my optimum lineup was.

i would give you a second opion, you obviously mean with no lineup, that you select players for a game but don't put them into the lineup - a league mate of me means that the results aren't that bad but in my last PL game i tried it myself and i wasn't happy with the decisions.

(15079938) - often the suggested position ain't bad, in my roster so compare it for yourself.

this is more what i had in mind. i would bring players to the game, just not assign them positions in a lineup. so if i understand you correctly, you did this, and did not lose 25-0.

I think as long as you dress 3 or more players for the game you won't get the 25-0 score. But the AI will probably pick you team like it does when it's selecting a bots teams. IE the best player plays PG, second best plays SG and so on... (Not sure of the exact order.)

On bot teams highest salary was pg, second the sG ... But in my case this isn't true, and the players switch positions very often it seems pretty random for me.

Edit: and it wasn't that unimportant if you look on the rookie lineup in the new design, where you don't arrange backups and let then come through this system
