What happens if I set an incomplete roster (for example 4 players, no subs. in a scrimmage ) ? Will the match be played and will these players get a normal training? Is there some penalty for it? Thanks.

It will be a walkover victory for the other team. Don't do it. Set at least five players. Even that is very risky becuase of injuries and foul trouble.

doesn't your coach select any other players to come along?
mine did that once, I set 10 players, and my coach took 12.
:)
An other time I set 10 players, and my coach didn't take extra, he just played the 10...
Is there a system for this, or is it randomness?

From what I've seen, if players aren't put in the Selected Players section (left hand box), then the coach will not use them. If they are put in the Selected Players section and not asigned a starting, backup, or reserve position, the coach will use them as he sees fit. Could be wrong here. I've never set an incomplete lineup.

I choose 10 players for the left box, and there where 12 shown in the game, however the two who came along didn't get any playtime.
The other time I also selected 10 players in the left box, and there where indeed only 10 players in the game...

Interesting. I guess the safe bet is to always try and play with at least 10 players.
