I have this player(4336038). he's got prominent jump shot but the average of his jump shot is only 17.4%. Can anyone explain howcome? His inside shot is only strong yet, the percentage is 45%.

Well I am I not sure all of the reasons, but I can point to two immediate factors. one is his game shape is not the best right now (I am not sure how you have managed it all season). The other is you have favored a little the look inside tatic which I feel does not lend itself to stellar play by guards in general. Like most generalizations their are plenty of exceptions to this rule.

"FG" is all non-free throw shot attempts, including three point attempts, layups, and mid-range jump shots. So 45% shooting percentage includes long and mid-range 2 point attempts which he seems to be hitting fairly consistently.

His three point percentage (which is also worked into the 45%) is bad, though. What is his jump range?

Having a better driving attribute and having teammates with better passing will get him better shots and raise his percentage, too.

I think that for 3pt shots u have to depend on jump range much more then jump shot.

Yep,his jump range is too small....When you play the inside offene, and play him as a sf, he maybe have a higer jump shot percentage.
