cup starts at the beginning of the season instead of scrimmage, the draw is random ;)
So it palyed paralell to the regular season, and maybe in spain till the start of the playoff.
The regular season startet with 7 games against your conference, then you play 8 games against the other conference and again 7 games against the teams of your conference(switched homecourt in comparision to the first game). After this the play off start, 2 single match eleminations, and finally a best of three game for the championship.
