Just to be sure, what happens if a team forfeits in game 1 or 2 of the finals?
Of course they will lose the game, but is there any other penalty maybe?

He ´ll lose the match and their players won´t get minutes for the training.
Best regards.

Ok, fine.
I'm asking because, looking at past seasons, I've realized that sometimes the winner of game-1 leaves all the best players out in game-2, probably in order to lose and get one more gate receipt (this has actually happened to me last season, when I lost the finals 2-1).
I was wondering what stops one from forfeiting the game all along, to avoid the risk of injuries; I guess the only advantage is to gain train minutes for the reserves. Still, maybe it's too risky a decision for a fraction of gate receipts and a week of training (which could be spent on FT or ST anyway).

I think it´s risky too. Anyway, you have to manage your players minutes and you have the possibility of setting 5 bench players to play the entire game reserving the starters for the last game.
