What the?? You're telling me that Hess was the 3rd best player in the league?

Raise your hand if Lester Hess didn't make a mockery of your team's C/PF last season.

Interesting MVP voting I must say...It seems that the voting should have been more spread out—and possibly a lot closer...Pappy

I don't understand why Sottorcornola is up there either. 2nd in voting? All he really did for me this season was pull down rebounds and get injured when I needed him the most.

Interesting that all of the top 4 MVP vote-getters were big men from the Big 8. And since the salary update is now final, it's really nice to see Hess getting paid what he's worth.

i dont understand why carl gounko wasn't even in the running.. Tselikas was.. and he only got 1 vote. i mean if anyone from my team would make the voting, i'd figure they would get alot more than 1 vote, considering they helped take my team to the nbba...

i just assumed carl gounko would atleast be in the top running for mvp...
but apparently the GE thinks otherwise. which i'll just take a dump on the GE.

Hess didn't kill me, but naturally only played him once so perhaps he had an off game LOL

Don't think Leggett was a bad choice either.

Looks like he did have an off-game against you. And, he fouled out.

Don't think Leggett was a bad choice either.

Don't really have a problem with Leggett being MVP, but Hess made more a mockery of Paolo than Leggett.

In 2 games vs my Machines:

Leggett 37 pts 22 rb 6 ast 4 blk

Hess 61 pts 42 rb 2 stl 3 blk

I held the monster Hess to only 21 points and 15 boards when I played him.

And Leggett to 8 points 14 boards.. i feel I did a decent job containing both MVP candidates =D

The only people who did any real damage against me were ,Speedwagons Troy Anderson, dropping 46 on carl gounko shooting almost 70% from the field and 50% 3's.....
Also imo, I think Victor Lucena should've had a lot higher voting counts..

Thanks for the shoutout, Mister. I too thought Lucena was pretty much snubbed, as were your great guard duo. Guess our conference just didn't get the respect of the voters, huh? On to season 10, my friend. And good luck in the NBBA!...Pappy

After this slight, Lester Hess demanded a transfer. Cronin too!

I don't terribly mind him leaving.

I am concerned, however, with the nearly $7 million you have to replace them.

It's hard to spend, believe it or not. I got 3.4 for Hess, and I'm supposed to replace him with a 2.5 player that is 2 seasons away from matching Hess's skills? The market is wack right now!
