Injuries.
The current injury solution isn't working particularly well and needs to be rethought. We have a plan and a good idea about how to work the injuries out in future, but for the moment we have decided to reset all injured players and turn off injuries in the game engine.
Substitutions ( repeat post )
Due to the fact that planning training and game time for players seems to be off-kilter we are introducing a substitution strategy on the tactics page. The option will be implemented shortly, i.e. within the next few hours.
The new substitution options are
1. Let coach decide:
The system we have currently. The strongest player will play.
2. Coach selects from depth chart:
The coach tries to pick the strongest player to play but considers the depth chart more than at present.
This is intended to be a mixture of 1 and 3.
3. Strictly follow depth chart
Players will play according to the way you set them, even if it means that a weaker player takes the floor.
4. Depth chart until 4th
Players play the first three quarters according to your set up and then the coach decides who plays in the 4th.
Each option has strengths and weaknesses depending on whether you're trying to win a tight game or concentrating on training. We hope this sorts out the issues you've all been having.
