I read the manual and I do understand the various roles of the staffs. Where I don't have a good feel for are:

(1) at what level when do PR becomes important? How strong of a factor is between PR level vs merchandise sale?
(2) at what level when a higher doctor become necessary?

Some background, my team is pretty new .. has not completed one full season under my management yet. :)

Appreciate any feedback or comments on regard to this.

Well PR helps the merchandise, income and to fill u r arena easier. How much help? i dont know. I am using the golden mediocrity of lvl 4.

About the doc his job is to have less injuries during the season. I just have lvl 2 with massage specialty to help me to keep my players on a better shape

yes, I've read that golden rule of lvl4 so over the off season, I went lvl4 across the aboard for my staffs. Now I'm thinking if I should pull back a bit on the doc & pr. My problem is that I've seen my merchandise increase almost 3x this week but I don't know what caused that. I've had this pr lvl 4 for several weeks now and I only see this jump in merchandise this week. So I don't think it's all about the pr. I just don't want to downgrade the pr then only to see a huge decrease in merchandise.

As for the doc, I've read several post where teams are doing ok with a low lvl 1 or 2 doc. Have you experienced much injury with a lvl2 doc? When I had a lvl1 doc, I got hit big with injuries. When I upgraded to a lvl4, I ran into one case where my player got hurt during the game and then was able to play the next game. I attributed that to my lvl4 doc but I'm now questioning myself if I should invest that much cash to a doc at this stage of my team.

I was running a lvl 1 doc, until i had 1 injury on my trainees, then i bought a lvl 2 with taping injuries specialty and it was ok. Now i have a typical weekly income 350+k but i still don't buy a higher lvl doc. Maybe i was lucky and i didnt have a serious injury yet. About the in game injuries i had it several times, so i dont think that is so much related to the doc

Higher level of medical people will improve game shape I think. So if you plan to use some players a bit more you will have better chances to keep them at proficient or strong.

i think with the doc you should take a view aout the "value" of your rooster in comparision to his salary.

In must weeks you will pay your octor for nothing, and when you put this money on a bank account and hire a level 2 doc(i like the massage speciality), you maybe could buy a "reserve" when somebody injures and sell him after the injured player is back in shape.

If you have some important and expensiv player you maybe don't have the payrlll, to buy a new one or the transfer fees + salary will be more expensiv then a "good" doctor.

The PR are a big questionmark for me, because i doesn't undertand the fansurvey and the small ups and down in the attendance pretty well even with a constant PR and in my eyes the PR earns the most money with higher attendance and not with marketing(but even there are a new system with maybe a bigger impact from the PR)

PR manager will increase your income, but to get this you must show good performance to your fans...

if the team running bad it means will decrease your income...

so i prefer to get better trainer to improve my performance then higher high level PR...

I think with only level 3 doctor your player condition will more stabil...from my exp last season

my player get injured in the middle of game...but after the game he still healthy and can play for next game...

happy BB

Thank you everyone for the discussion. Sound like my best suggestion is don't over spent on doc & pr ... at least in the lower divisions. :)
