Ok I can see how bidding for your own player can be against the rules because it drives the price up on him. But how about if my sole intent is to actually buy him back and not to drive his price up. For indtance you put a player up for sale then realize you don't want to sell. You change your mind.

Still considered cheating?

Well i dont actually think that is cheat. You will lose 3% of the money that u will pay to buy him back, so here is u r penalty

No. That is not cheating.
If you put a player on sale and you're worried because the offers are lower than expected, it's perfectly legit to bid on him.
But don't forget: you will pay 100% of your offer, but receive only 80-97% of it (depending on the player history), so you will lose 3-20% of the sale price. Worst yet, if you actually buy back your player the % on the future sale will revert back to 80%, so you really have to be careful on your choice.

Well once you think about fully than it seems ok. I just wanted to be clear so I make sure to not break any rules
