hey im in DIV 3 in USA. i was wondering how the demotion table works in DIV3 usa, how high must i finish to not demote.

i do not have a team that i feel can win my league this year, i also do not want to demote, it was too hard to get up here as it is. but i know i must retool and upgrade at places by training but to do so i must 1st get worse, and i dont want to do that too early and lose games i shouldnt and get demoted. thanks for any info!

The 8th team in each conference is demoted. 6th and 7th play off against 6th and 7th in the other conference in a best of 3 relagation series. So 4 teams in your entire division get demoted.

Plus any not relegating bots if any.

in this case it must be a lot of bots, because the missing bot places are filled with "good" teams from the lower leagues first.

The USA is active in the fourth league, so he will demote if he didn't hold the league.

I meant that 4 fours teams demote from league and if there is any bot among other 12 teams* then such a bot demotes too making larger number of demoting teams (rare in competitive leagues but not so rare). Not that he would be saved cause there is not enough teams to be promoted in lower levels. There is.

*technically if someone from his conference would promote through bot, such a bot would demote to his conference and then even lower enlarging number of teams demoted from his division; well better wording would be number of eams changing division in this case
