After a little wheelin and dealing, I have managed to get some decent trainees
and after a home game tonight, I should have app $475,000.

Is it advisable to try and get a Level 4 Trainer now, and, what are the signing bonuses for one?

Level 4 trainer is good to have for your level. Not sure what u mean by signing bonus he will just train your players better then a lower better trainer thats all there is.

Thank you very much.

Well, when I went from Level 1 to Level 2, my Economy told me this:

9/10/2009 Signing bonus for staff Trainer X $ 12,000
9/10/2009 Severance fee for staff Trainer Y $ 2,100

Taking an educated swag by comparing the severance fees of my new doctor and PR guy,
I figure they get about 1 1/2 weeks wages goodbye money.

The signing bonuses for my Level 2 Doctor and Trainer were both $12,000, while the PR's
was only $1000.

What I am wondering about is: Are these the same every level or are they at a "per level" basis
i.e a Level 4 Trainer would get a $48,000 bonus and my departing Level 2 Trainer would get
app $6,700 in severance (based on this week's salary).

And, what the heck, while I'm at it---

Does the staff salary continually go up, or is it a form of soft cap, that is, if it quits going up
then the staff member is as good as he is ever gonna get?

Staff salary keeps going up but the trainer doesn't improve if u get a level 4 trainer he will always be a level 4 trainer. Signing bonus is what u bid on the staff member to get him. Severance pay is 1 weeks salary for the staff member u just fired.

Thanks again. I didn't realize I had bid the same on both the Doctor and the Trainer :)

Oh, I didn't think he would go level 5, I was thinking that maybe that he could go from, say,
4.01 to 4.99 and the salary was a reflection of that. Guess not though, eh?

I can see the reasoning behind that.

Helps a little bit with the monopolistic tendencies of older players a little, maybe? (just joking,...................sorta)

land a Level 4 Trainer.

You don´t need to set a new training. You´re gonna train what you selected but whith a different coach.
