My teams weakest position is the SF. I was checking the market today for a good SF and i found that the really good 2 way SF's price are really high like 4.5 mil at least. So i guess i will have to sacrifice, something, to buy 1 good player to play the SF position. My question is what kind 1? In my league from what ive seen until now the most SF's are SG's converted to SF's. I am training big men,but i have 2-3 decent to very good guards. So, what kind SF to buy? i will be able to spend like 3-3.5 mil. Also risking 1 season without success, and not buying that ''great SF'' and saving money to buy him is an option too? If u ask about my game plan, i am trying to be versatile and unpredictable, so i am trying to built a very balanced team.

Any ideas will be very much appreciated

The easiest solution is to call a guard as an SF and try to use outside tactics...The good SF's are supposed to be the best players and the most expensive(Lebron James,Carmelo Anthony) and need to be good at everything which is very difficult..
Either sell a player you think you need the least to help you get those 4-5 million you need or wait till you are able to save the money you need...Do not settle with mediocrity because the problem will remain...

I want what all men want...I just want it more.

Easy to say hard to do it. Even with a 1 great guard i can repeat my title, thats why is so big dilemma

I see you have an 18 year old PF who is only 6'5".

I know I'm a noob, but, if I had him, and his outside skills were halfway decent to start,
that'd be my future SF.

Yes he is great SF prospect, and for the next 2 seasons i will train his inside skills, and then i will sell him to a guard trainer, to develop his outside skills, and built a very nice SF for my NT. BUT i need to win now, and also training some talented big men, i cant afford to switch my training to the guards

The best long-term solution I can think of,is buy a good SG(height is a plus) and train him inside along with your normal big man trainees...Probably a 20 yo SG,already developed at a decent level in outside skills...After 1 or 2 seasons, you have your star SF ;)

I want what all men want...I just want it more.

I think that you are too big team to rely on a 18-year-old. But you cannot make a big transfer, too... So, I will agree with James Bond. Buy a 20-21 year old (already trained in outside skills) and convert him to a SF.

Pardon me, I misunderstood.
