Is there any plan to include coaches as part of the GMs ability to hire and fire staff?

I have wondered for a while why we are not able to hire coaches, and some of the choices made in my cup game today have brought that question back to the forefront of my mind. My coach today left a player on who was having an awful game FG 3-24, 3FG 0-14 and 10TO) when a replacement with similar skill levels (listed as back-up/reserve w/ choose from depth chart) was left sitting on the bench.

It would be nice to be able to threaten my coach with the sack!! ;-P
