I have been wondering something for awhile now, I currently am doing a 2 position training regimine and i was wondering if i had took a player that had lets say superstar or better potential 18 years old and trained him, is there anyway i would ever hit his cap?

I have seen it discussed on here that two position training greatly reduces the rate of training so lets say i had a guy from the time he was 18 years old... he got his 48 minutes every week and had superstar or better potential... could i ever hit the 150k+ salary they are supposed to be able to achieve?

Thanks for anyone who answers.

no my question was if you took a guy from the time he was 18 and you trained him with 2 position training... so basically 5 trainees at a time... and he had hall of fame or all time great potential is there anyway that he would hit his cap?

Again i heard that 2 position training rather than 1 is dramatically slower.

i think the answer you're looking for is yes. if you took an 18 year old and trained him every week under 2 position training you would max him out. Thats just my feeling though. i have a 22 year old with hall-of-fame potential with 167k salary so i'm just basing it off him.

2-position is, obviously, less than 2 times slower than 1 position training. You can easily do the math by taking a cursory glance in the Training Speed thread found in the sticky.

what? please post me where this claim was written and who wrote this. My experience is that one player in 2-post training has around 70% pop-ups in comparison with pops up of player in 1-post training.

He is confirming what u are saying. 2 times slower is 50%, so MORE then 2 times slower is say 40% so LESS then 2 times slower would be around the 70% which is what u think.
