Ok, I am not really sure how to describe this issue, but here goes:

When I loaded my roster page today, I noticed that a lot of ad pages were loading at the bottom of my window. Strange, I thought, ad pages don't usually load while I play BB. Then, all of a sudden, a radio ad for Buick started playing in the background. I thought it may have been from a different page, but I double checked and I am sure that BB was the only site I have open. When I navigated from my roster page to one of my players, the music changed.

Just as a side note, I had the long menu open when this happened. I am not sure if this makes any difference.

I will edit this post if it happens again and will try to look for the sites that load.

Ok, it continues to happen all over the site. The webpage "dc.tremormedia.com" loads and a voice sings "la la la la la la, and some bells ring, and then a voice announces an ad for AT&T wireless"

Looks to me like you have a spyware problem that's unrelated to Buzzerbeater. Make sure you run some spyware cleaning software (Spybot -- Search and Destroy or AdAware are good options).

normally I would agree with you, but this only happened when I visited buzzbeater. I subsequently went to other sites and it didn't happen.

I will put a query with the BB-team, though a quick google check shows that this particular site is definitely malware. I recommend you check your system nonetheless.

I agree 100%. if malware is coming from another source, intended or not, it is not BB's problem, it is mine. I just wanted to alert BB that I saw this in the off chance that it was an unsanctioned part of an advertiser's code.

Thanks for everyone's help on this. I will now go scrub my computer clean.

It is probably pure coincidence that this happens when BB is open. I am also completely sure it is 100% unrelated to BB, because otherwise many other players should have the same problem, and this is clearly not the case !
I am pretty sure your system is infected with spyware/adware. Try to get a good spyware remover and run it, then you'll immediately see if anything comes up on the screen and you'll know for sure if it is spyware/adware or not.
I think that's a good first step to take in figuring out what the reason for this problem is, don't you think.
