After last week's win over Egypt (163-155) in the final game of the Repechage Tournament, Malaysia has expectedly failed to qualify for this season's WC after finishing second behind France in the group.

Beginning from this week, Malaysia will go through a series of games with other countries in the Consolation Tournament, aka Losers' Tournament. Our main objective of this tournament is to try to advance to the elimination phase. But again, there are some tough matches ahead, so it will be a challenge.

However, Malaysia has a good start with win over Indonesia this evening (118-103). Next up, Ireland.
