Is there something wrong with the league updates now?, My league games were always played at 7:00 PM and the league update was at 9:00 PM but it hadn't happpened at 2:00 AM. Is this a change in how the game works or just some problem?

it was a temporary problem we experienced yesterday.

How about today? Update is 3,5h behind.

i am very sorry, i know you dont take me serious for whatever reason considering your replies to my posts on the forums... or should I say the lack off it?

I reported exactly the same thing last week, updates have been very much out off sync for several weeks now. And several people stated the same. The respons we received last week from a GM was more or less along the lines, live with it...

We used to get in England, until season 8 training updates on Friday at 1100 am CET time, now we can be happy if we get them before 0100 pm CET. How do I know this so well, because my PL matches were at 0100 pm CET and I always waited with making my line up until I had the training update, and this has been going on for weeks now. Standing updates have been out off sync for the last 3 weeks now. They used to be updated just before midnight the last 2 weeks, and they used to be spot on at 1000pm CET. Now it is 0037am and there is still no league standing update.

I cant believe you once again like last week say there is no problem. You must get some kind off report or whatever indicating this information isnt coming online or been run at all.

Yes, from the tone off my message you can tell I am peed off. Two weeks in a row, these reports are being responded too as if they are insignificant. But I am a paying member and as with any other product I expect some proper answers and not to be told nothing is wrong and to just have to accept delays (as I was told last week by a GM). A little bit off a delay isnt a problem, but this is really getting out off hand tbh...

I have to agree to your points.

In germany we are now nearly 6 hours after the last games and there are still no league updates.

this week is a special week because its all star week and so we have to plow through all the all star voting as well as the usual updates for game days.

just so you understand how the system works, we aren't manually running things.. things are automatically scheduled and scheduled for the same time all the time... when things don't happen exactly ontime, its because things that needed to happen before it have pushed it back in the queue. The reason this sort of thing can happen is when we have some sort of database issue/something slowing the system down. We are always in a constant battle with scaling issues, and we clearly are not winning right now, and I apologize, we are working on it... today is especially difficult because we have all star voting to calculate on top of everything else.

What we are not doing is being lazy and forgetting to press the go button at the right time, or forgetting about the updates and running them late because we don't care whether it pisses people off.

I believe I have solved the underlying scaling issue.. now the schedule is playing catch up...

we should have been better in keeping people updated as to the problems and solutions to problems...

we did have an issue on tuesday, we solved that issue tuesday night.

tonight's issue is different, its caused by the allstar standings.

I could go into great technical detail for the reason for each of the problems and the steps we took to solve it, and why this problem wasn't anticipated.. but I suspect that would all bore and confuse you to tears.

We seem to have an ongoing problem with training for far eastern teams, because we run a server backup on friday mornings, and that slows training down such that it is delayed relative to when people expect it, but we don't see this as a major issue because we have the headline which tells people when training is done.

id just like to know how long it will take until the updates and the results? are you able to see which work has to be done and how long it takes?

excuses. excuses. meanwhile the people who pay for this game are becoming increasingly impatient. i like the game, it is fun game, I feel it is worthy of my money every few months to enjoy it, but for some time now training updates have been delayed and now standings updates are delayed. i dont want BS, if there are problems then let us know. i can understand that more then "we are working on it" or" it should be resolved by...."

it looks like the standings updates will be done in an hour or so,
daily updates should catch up soon after that
though there might be a few delays as we grind through the all star updates, which i have pushed back to try to get through the standings and daily updates.
