By giving minutes of game to your players. And yes, it takes some time to pop up.

There is not something like the "best substitution pattern".

What I can tell you is that DT seems to take in consideration the overall performance of your players for the position in question, while you might have other assignments for that position (like a heavily defense player). So you need to find a balance between your DT and your own word.

There is when substitution patterns get in.

When players play just a few minutes and no not receive ratings (as NR), do they receive the experience bonus as the players with ratings?
Playing just one minute gives same experience as 48 min, or you need to receive a rating?

i seems that the total minutes counts, so he get 1/48 of the xp of the player who played the full game.

but i can not guarantee this.
