A good time to train stamina is when there are only 2 games a week, either the all star break or if u are out of the playoffs.
In addition to stamina training, a 2-game week is a good time to consider training free throws. Game shape training is pretty much useless for most teams. Like said above, you manage game shape by managing the minutes well.
