scrimmage tonight. for purposes of minutes management and training, i had a starting lineup with a center starting at SG; my regular SG, whose minutes i wanted capped, i listed as a sub. i figure both would get 24 minutes or so. game starts, and my independent thinking coach starts my regular SG -- if he gets 40 minutes or more, he busts 80. the point is, the coach overrode my starting lineup orders. dang.

Were u using Strictly Follow Depth Chart? Strange i wouldn't think coach would change the starters just the substitute patterns.

It happened to me several times before. Unless you use SFDC the coach will do that if your back up is better than the starter. And since you played your C out of position...

i had missed the absolute start of the match, so i wondered if my coach had subbed in, say, the first five seconds. nope. i told him start x and he started y. and, no, i did not tell him "strictly follow depth chart" -- live and learn. now my dude has 95 minutes for the week. crap
