As I was trying to figure out my team's training regimen for the end of the year, it occurred to me to question an assumption I had made. Before, I would try to squeeze in the last training for, say, a 22 or 23 year old player because I thought the next year training for the same player in the same skill may be a bit slower. The thought then occurred to me that if the player's age has sublevels -- that is, a player goes from 22.0 to 22.5 around the all-star break and is now at, say, 22.9 -- that my strategy is much less efficient / effective than I had thought. I was wondering if any knew a definitive answer to this question: are there sublevels to a player's age, or is it an absolute (22.0 until it becomes 23.0)?
