Hi all, just started up a topic to create some discussion here: "What do you think of next season"

I have been seeing the big teams in MBBA dominated the league for quite some times. While the gap for Ampang Stuporsonics is still too huge to catch up, there are few surprised results happening in recent seasons, the 2nd to 10th teams are getting closer now.

In MBBA League, Teams like Kwaiwah has demonstarted a fast growth example to jump and stay in the MBBA league, while KMC, NoT, and Ginakia will be my best bet to close the gap for Ampang Stuporsonics in next season. Unfortunately for team love and New Lakers (computerised), they are just short in qualities in MBBA. I predict sab stomper and Ministry of Basketball might be relegated, they need 1 more season to develop into better team to stay there (i think our mentorship programme could help them, they has a good foundation), so they will be upcoming team to be promoted into MBBA after next season.

As i look around the Division 2 teams, laksarawak from Div II.1 will be in MBBA but his team is too weak to stay in. The Great Addidas from Div II.2 will have a huge challenge to stay in but chances is there as he has good foundation too. Teluk Kechai Superchef and Penang Celtic from Div II.4 are two even teams with good foundation to stay at top. Of course my team from Div II.3 will be there too, should be able to fight for a place in MBBA. Oh ya, should not forget come OWN me from Div II.3 as well, they are growing, has been too good to be in Div. II, hope to see him up in MBBA after next season, they have a good foundation as well.

After overlooked every potential team in Div I & II, i believe dragonz, Schwarze Armee, sab stomper, Ministry of Basketball, The Great Addidas, Teluk Kechai Superchef, Penang Celtic and come OWN me are potential young team to look after. I wish they could continue to develop their team in long run and 1 day should be able to achieve what Kwaiwah has achieved in 2 seasons back. Congratulation for them and good luck.

YxQy,

Just take it as a challenge. Having one clear strong opponent is a lot better than having 10 strong opponents.
You should aim to be promoted to the MBBA and to stay there for as long you can.

If you cannot even take this challenge up, you will not be able to survive long in MBBA.

Looks like Red Devils is telling us that he plans to make his stay in MBBA a long term one. With his latest addition Miguel Ciaño and who knows who he will add with the $1M promotion bonus, looks like a very strong contender.

Red Devils,
All the best in your PO and look forward to seeing you in MBBA.

hi, ur team instead are too good to be in Div II now, but still lacking of qualities to challenge to stay in MBBA... even i'm not very sure if i can hold for long in MBBA, those team there are real giant, i have been up and downs from MBBA for few times, and i bet you would not like the feeling of getting bombared every match by them... Just like what Kwaiwah said.

Continue improving your team, not only the squad (u need more balanced and more than 1 superior star players) but also on the arena, with that only you can challenge them...i can see you better potential than others in Div.II, as u are very active in the forum and learning fast. Good luck to u next season. You should improve fast, and aware of Michigan Wolverines, Pmtg 3RM, and Super rockets, they are improving fast, they have been actively improving their arena, which is a good signs...

Hi Kwaiwah, ur advice is right for YxQy, i have been up and downs in MBBA and really feel the gap between MBBA and Div II...It's a big setback for my arena attendance every time i lost a game in MBBA even worst relegated from MBBA...we really need to aim for staying long in MBBA.

YxQy, u should learn from Kwaiwah on how he did manage to build a balanced team to stay in MBBA, i learnt that i've made many mistakes when i saw his team there.

I still experiencing if my strategy could work...i wish i can give some fight in MBBA for many seasons. See u guys on top!!!

Frankly speaking, I really feel more attention should be given to Too Cool and Damientor.

Since Season 9, I have noticed that Too Cool is accomplishing really great results with his team. His total player salary ($219K) has always been the bottom half of the league but he has never failed to end up the top 4. He did it in Season 9 and he did it again in Season 10. And he has actually achieved quite a number of upsets against teams like Damientor, TAT,Arowana Kings and KMC (In season 9).

Damientor on the other hand is also on the bottom half of the league in terms of total player salary ($244K) but has done very good match management on his last 5 MBBA games which earned him just enough to inch ahead of TAT based on point differential. A rather superb attempt and a rather gutsy one for him to try to Normal 'TAT' just to save on enthusiasm to CT on 'PJ Reds'.

These are definitely the two teams in MBBA to look up to. As they not only are able to maintain to be in MBBA but are able to do so much with so little salary. More importantly they are in the PO.

I was actually left with no choice. Needed 2 nos of win to stand a chance to reach the playoff. N my two last match is against TAT n PJ. The only logical thing to do.... Normal the first match, CT the second n pray for a win for both matches. A lost against any of those team would mean 5th place. Guess lady luck was shining on my side, as I won PJ by juz 2 pts n considering he TIE me while i CT him. Really lucky me.
