Today, barring something really unexpected, will be my last competitive game with the USA National Team.

I am honored that you have decided that I would be the best person to manage the USA NT for the past 4 terms, and by the time my term ends I'll have had the job 26 months.

That's a long time in any aspect, especially the virtual world.

We never reached the ultimate goal, a world championship, and for that I will be forever regretful, but I've had a blast doing this job, and will cherish the memories forever.

Despite the lack of even reaching a final, I think we've done very well in the international arena, and I take little shame in two Americas gold medals, two Americas silver medals, and two Worlds bronze medals.

What i hope most of all is that the infrastructure that has been built in these 4 terms sets up the USA for long-term success.

I do have a few people to thank:

GM-chewbrian, for being my consigliere the whole way, dispensing tactical advice, listening to my usual rants and raves, and just being there whenever I had an NT decision to make. Also, Brian was instrumental in launching the USA U21 program.

wozzvt, for building, improving, tweaking, and maintaining the USA NT database. His hard work has given us a site that contains information on over a hundred NT prospects, with infrastructure in place to continue our information gathering efforts.

GM-CocoLoloMomo, who has done a tremendous job with the USA U21, providing his own insight into the NT, and assisting in building the USA NT program for the future

GM-Vikman, who spent over a season trying to contact managers from all over the world about their USA NT prospects - a thankless job, believe me.

gdonovan, who has been in the USA chat during NT games without fail - it's much appreciated.

To the USA community that posts here or on the offsite forum - a big THANK YOU! This is all for you, and without a strong community we have no USA NT program to speak of.

Finally, a gigantic THANK YOU to the BB Team, without which we would not have this wonderful game and this community.

Charles, Mark, Forrest, and your former colleagues - I tip my cap for you, and thank you for providing me with countless hours of joy.

After today, when, barring something weird, we are eliminated, I will continue to scout all of the players in the database until the new manager assumes the position. We will also be playing scrimmages, and I'll have a nice surprise or two for you before the season is over.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'll see you down the road.

Nicely said Juice. It's been great to have you leading the US NT community (and the US BB community at large), and you'll be hard to replace. I have a feeling you won't be able to stay too far away, though.

Anyway, I feel like in the last couple of seasons you've invented a new style of managing an NT, being very aggressive in enthusiasm deployment. It doesn't work so well over the stretch of a tournament, but it gets you some incredible wins!

Well, I hope future NT managers don't need to follow that path - we basically were in must-win mode from the word go this time around.

Standing ovation to you Juice for all your efforts, you committed more to the US NT then you did your own club which is more then most could probably say. I surely wouldn't have been nearly as involved with the NT program if not for you being the head of it. Good times with those friday and monday morning scrambles to piece together a game plan, quite a few of which we seemed to be outnumbered and against the odds.

All in all, you did an amazing job with this team making us one of the best in the world no matter what talent there was to work with.

Thank you for all the effort and time you have committed to the NT team. At the time when the national teams came out, I don't believe anyone would have put as much effort into building a successful NT team as well as building for the future as you did. You have made an excellent foundation for the USA national team into the coming seasons and beyond. You should be proud

I'll join in the slobbering by thanking you for helping me get my feet on the ground when I became the NT coach of New Zealand.

As the "token" Fan - thanks they have been a lot of fun. It's a shame you missed my impression of you while you were in Florida. I enjoyed it - don't know if Charles and Wozz did :)

Thank you for your effort till the dying day. It has been a hoot arranging schedules to watch and chat. I wish you the best and feel sorry for the next guy because they have a high standard to live up to.

Great job Juice!

I hope this doesn't mean your NBBA team will stop sucking now though.
