Hi can anyone explain the difference between star rating and potential and the scale for each - eg 6th man is what star rating or is that potential ? and what potential would that be. thanks -

Star rating is his current skills while potential rating is how much potential he has.

...but the crucial thing is what is two star. Almost everyone in my draft is two star so I need to know if it is crippling or not.

For two stars, it's normally Role player, 6th man or Starter.

Don't know eaxctley but its low personally i would rather put a completely unscouted player ahead of a 2 potential guy or a 2 star player with unknown potential.

That helps a great deal - if 4 star is perennial then 3 star is probably allstar which would be great. If anyone has more info they would like to share I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you very much - a very useful link especially the following:
***** = Hall of Famer ou Légende
**** = Franchise Player ou Star planétaire ou MVP
*** = Star ou All-Star
** = Remplaçant ou Sixième homme ou Titulaire
* = Éplucheur d'oranges ou Cireur de banc
Thanks again

Don't take this as gospel. I drafted a 3 star player last season who ended up being a 6th man. I sold him:(
