I have heard that if a player does n`t submit their draft ranking then they will have the players in the same order as the draft list is at the beginning.
As in my league the players are very inactive and I am sure a lot of them even don n`t know anything about draft at all I want to see what are my chances as I will be the last one to pick.
for me the best player I have scouted who was 5 star A+ 5 ball Potential was already at the top of my list at the beginning.
I want to see if you had the same experience or no you did n`t have your best player at the top of your list by default
Thanks in advance

I read somewhere that everyone in your league has a different default order for the draft. So its random as to who put at the top of your default list. The best player i know of is player 8 in my draft for example. So u could get lucky and get that guy u just don't know because the draft can be unpredictable.

yes everyone's draft order is different because you all scout different players, i think the best you've scouted is at the top though, so if someone before you has scouted that person then they will get the player, not you.

Also how do you work out what pick you'll get in the draft?

You look at the win loss record of the entire 16 teams in your league and group them into 1 table. So in your case you will be picking 9th as 5 teams from the other conference have worse records and 3 teams from your conference have worse records. The normal tie break rules apply if teams have the same record.

No its based on win/loss records after the regular season. Anything in the post season has no effect on the draft.

i think the best you've scouted is at the top though

That's incorrect.

If your best scouted player is on top it's pure coincidence. Players get put in a random order whether they have been scouted or not.
