I posted the tactics and line-up for today's game on the off-site forum - sorry I did not get them up sooner. As soon as I am certain the game has been run, I will drop the 21 year olds and I will start scouting for next season.

Also, I probably won't post line-ups for the scrimmages in the coming weeks, the focus for me will be on scouting.

So, we finished the tournament on a high note, although it doesn't mean much. I think we finished ahead of Mexico because of point differential, so their crunch against us accomplished nothing for them.

Hey chuck,
I was wondering if either you or RiP could post a scouting report on say... the top ten 18, 19, and 20 y/o players for Canada. I realize this is not the right place but i am very interested in seeing what we have to work with for next season.
Thanks,
Jordanjr

I was planning to do this - RIP has been asking me to take on more of the scouting. I'm actually quite receptive to doing all the U21 scouting, although I still may need some help sending BB-mails. But more on that come election time.

I have updated the tracking list for all the 19 and 20 yr olds. My priority will be to do the 18 yr olds next. Then I will work on compiling the top 10 lists, as RIP has done in the past. Hopefully I can get some of this done before the draft - because when the draft hits it will be my top priority.

That's great that you are willing to take on the scouting. I am not sure if you have already gotten enough people to help with scouting, but i would be glad to help as long as i am not stuck doing the lowest division with all the bot teams again. Let me know if you need any help with anything. Oh, and although this season was not the best for Canada (seeing as we didn't qualify), i would say you did a very good job with the team. Best of luck for next season and hopefully we will be able to win the Consolation Tourny. Lastly, i am not sure if you are done with the 19-20 year olds, but if you are could you post them in a new thread.
Thanks again,
Jordanjr

Thanks for the support. I will start a new thread for the top 10s of each age group... As I said, I have taken down all the skills of the 19 and 20 yr olds but I haven't analyzed the players in detail just yet.

I'm letting AstonMidhurst run the draft scouting this season, I will just be there for help if he requests it and also to call up the players, look at their skills and enter them into the tracking sheet. I will copy your desire to help with the draft into the appropriate thread, though.

I know that the higher numbered leagues in division IV were not fun to scout last season but you did find 2 players, so I think it was worth it. Also, I think AM's suggestions should make scouting the bot filled leagues easier - he had some ideas that I never thought of.

Thanks for your help once again!
