I said this way back when buzzerbeater was still closed for beta testing and I will say it again. Player weight can play a huge role for many positions especially the front court. You have a long and lean center who is quick. Or you can have a monster in the paint that is big.

I think training plays more of a role in skills like that than anything.

yeah, i wondered that also... why is that there are no indications in a player's weight?
players being too fat and too skinny is also a factor in basketball... speed of the player, fatigue, conditioning, and player development overall is being factored by the player being fit or not.

I think as far as conditioning and fatigue, stamina and Game Shape are the main factors.

oh okay, so a player with a respectable stamina and a proficient game shape can indicate that a player is fit and has the ideal weight for a player?

If they have proficient stamina, I'm pretty sure they're probably in shape a bit.
That's what stamina is designed to tell us for the long-term.
Game Shape gives us a short-term representation of how a player is feeling.
I don't think we want to go down the road of duplicating measurements of player abilities, or complicate things to an extreme degree.
