I currently have a big decision to make for the draft. I have scouted six 5* players, two of them twice, and need a little help to choose the order.
Here are the players:
(A) PG - 5* Rating, A Grade, 4* Potential, 19
(B) SG - 5* Rating, A- Grade, 4* Potential, 19
(C) C - 5* Rating
(D) C - 5* Rating
(E) SF - 5* Rating
(F) SG - 5* Rating

If it makes any difference, I am training Guards. I am not sure whether to choose the 19 year olds because of thier potential or to go with the unknown players. Some things to take into account would be that im training guards, how much players will sell for, the chances of players being better ( or worse ), and anything you can come up with.
Thank you,
Jordanjr

I made a mistake, now edited, but yes i have scouted 6 5* players, two of them twice. I would be looking for a player to train or a player to sell from the draft. Any suggestions to what the order should be?

I've done a bit of thinking about a similar scenario. I think a major consideration is where u pick in the draft. In your case u have pick 15. That means that 14 other managers would have had the opportunity to scout players C, D, E and F . If they are a good player with good potential out of the 14 u would expect a few to have scouted them twice and found this information out. So they would probably be off the board when u pick anyway. If players C, D, and E and F are still on the board when u pick again the 14 managers have had a chance to scout so if he is still on the board he was probably scouted as a 'bad' player. So i think there is a fair chance players A and B will be better then the 5 stars left on the board when u pick. I think if u are picking earlier in the draft thats when u can take more risk on the 5 star unknowns because theres less chance that someone ahead of u has scouted the player twice.

I wouldn't choose 19-year-olds, I'd take a look on other players' stats of the match they were scouted and make a decision according this info. So, if you are going to sell him, take a high potential 19 y.o., but for training aims I'd recommend to risk ;) That's just my opinion..

I think you are overrating the age thing just a bit. It's nice to get an 18 year old if you can, but a good prospect is a good prospect no matter the age. Unless you want to train an under21 player.

One season is approximately 13 training sessions with Play-off or Relegation matches.(correct me, if I'm wrong). That's why the value of age is very high for me.

And that's why it nice to get one if you can, but remember that the big equalizer is the salary. So unless you have a HF that you are willing to train up to 250-350k, it won't matter that much.

if you train a star, or higher you most likely working three seasons with him and i don't know how much speed you loose but every season 5-10% slower training is big too - and if you draft the 19 year old because of his potential you will train him even longer.
So age is big, but in this case i pobadly would take the potential before age but i won't make the decision easy for me.
