My 18-year-old PG trainee has perennial all star potential, with a level 5 trainer, being trained at one position (besides one time when I trained team FTs).

I got 12 total pops this season, and possibly 13 if he pops this week.

Anyone get higher?

This has been a great season for my training. I have a level 5 trainer and got the following.
PG1- 10 pops
PG2- 11 pops
SG1- 12 pops
SG2- 10 pops
Etra guard- 9 pops

Nice improvement for sure :)

I had 7 Pops with a 18yr PG-Trainee. Lvl 4 Trainer, would be interesting to see how big the difference between lvl 4 and lvl 5 is throughout the whole season.

Other results? We could collect some data ;)

13/14 pops vs. 7 pops doesn't really tell us much in this case, though. One-position or two-position training, and what type of training? One-position handling will get a lot more pops than two-position pressure training, pretty much regardless of trainer level.

I wouldn't just focus on number of pops. Not all pops are equal. For example, I would rather have 7 pops in outside d training over the season than 14 pops in driving and shot blocking.

Yeah, both true. Would be much too complicated to get real results. Where is my head?

No don't give in. Starting to compile this information could be invaluable. I am in my first season and have done 1, 2 and 3 position training, trained bigs and smalls, in other words I had no idea at all what I was doing for most of the season. It was also hard because while I eventually settled on guard 2 position training my starting PG is a 30 year old bench warmer - but he is an original player and I have a sentimental attachment to him.

The crucial thing I would like to get a feel for is the total number of pops per season in one position versus two position training. Sure there will be lots of variation with people doing all sorts of strange stuff but with a large sample it should even out the kinks.

Possibly someone already knows this but what I would like to hear is something like "level 5 trainer one position training three trainees 30 pops per season 10 per player, level 5 trainer two position training six trainees 40 pops per season 6-7 per player." Does anyone know?
