My suggestion is that injured players be able to play in scrimmages only.

That way the injury is still bad luck for league/cup games, but:

1) the player can get minutes in a scrimmage and not see his stamina drop;

2) get some training, but not a full week's worth since its unlikely (though not impossible) that the injured trainee will get all 48 minutes in a scrimmage.

Or if BB really wants training missed due to injuries, then merely let the scrimmage PT count to maintain stamina.

Hmm...if an injury is really an injury, then you still shouldn't be able to play in a scrimmage. Maye if you were +1 or like hattrick (has a bandaid), but if you're suffering a season long injury (ie. +7), scrimmages should be out too.

And I think if you're not playing you should lose stamina. But when you start playing again, you should probably be able to gain it back slowly as you play (sort of like the new stamina training system in HT).

Just let them play in Private leagues.

If nothing counts in PL, why should injuries be carried over to PL.

I'm trying to suggest a solution to the decaying stamina problem, not replicate more of that god-awful Hattrick farce.

The reality aspect of your post is admirable, but the injury situation is not all that realistic in the game. Hence a kludge like allowing the injured to play in scrimmages could be a useful work-around.

yes, but I fear the BB s had the nice opportunity to just take the player's played minutes and convert it into training without too much pain.

If they would let injured players play scrimmages to maintain their stamina, they would need to get extensive programming in order to avoid the injured players getting training as well (since I strongly feel that would be wrong) , if not, they could just scratch injury altogether, since it won't matter anymore...
Doctors do cost a lot, and their effect seems rather small, so there must be something you will get for your money if you pay him. If the effect or injured players is reduced so much, doctors would be unneeded.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
