(19001279) I played run and gun against zone 2-3, but my guards % where horrible, especially from my stars. Is 2-3 the new way to stop run and gun?

It doesnt explain it either. He is much worse team than me, and he was expecting me to play Look Inside as usual. Also my team is way way better than his. U can see that from the ratings/salaries. Anyway next week i have a game against the team that is compete with me, and he is always playing run and gun. Maybe i will try 2-3 zone against him. Not much to lose actually. Max 1 game.

Well GM's are not guru's of the game. I am asking the experience managers to give me an explanation. I can understand the rebounds for example, but i cant get with my 2 best players shoot so poorly

actually, I find it nowadays quite hard to beat any opposition TIEing.

I was sure that i would win that game and u can see that is no contest. Still i cant stop wondering why my guards have been shoot so poorly against 2-3 zone. Very weird. I can understand to lose the rebs, or my big men suck on scoring, but my guards??

Run and Gun, being a fast paced offence tends to let players shoot the ball up as soon as they get a look. This leads to lower quality shots and a reduced FG%, but the benefit is a fast game with lots of possession rotation. Motion, being a slower outside offence, looks for quality shots, which leads to higher %.

Motion also is on favor of 3pt shooting. 3pt shooting wasnt my problem. Also u have to consider that i was playing against a very bad team compared it to mine. Actually my players that had the best 3pt% where those with less JR. My C on that game have 10 on JS but 1 on JR, my SF 8-5.

Game engine gone weird?!??! =) It can be strange at times.. Or it's just one of those games, shooters off form, the C had to carry the team on his back.
