One of my players (Tony Ansell) was completely healthy before the game and i was just looking at my roster and trainings and so on waiting for the game to start.

Anyway, i happened to look at my roster list again 10 minutes before the game started (i believe the games have already been pre-loaded at this point so i may have my answer right there) and he was injured for 5 weeks.

Now if i just answered my own question, i have another:

Isn't a doctor meant to help prevent injuries as well as heal them? I have a level 10 doctor and this is the 2nd injury in a week or two since i got him and all the injures have said 4-5 weeks. I have no problems with his healing abilities but the prevention seems a bit of a problem.

You have to consider the randomness involved as well. I have a level 7 doctor for a long time and so far I had no injuries. I've been lucky i guess.

Maybe a player's stamina has an influence on the chance to get injured.

If you hide the injuries for the 15 minutes prior to a game, and a guy is on sale during that time, his injury would be hidden from a buyer. Similar to HT where people have guys be sold during games so their injuries will be hidden.

Isn't there a way to pre-load the game data on the server but not show it to us? How does HT handle this? For instance, I know in HT you can see experience pops once the game has started, but never injuries.

That's not what I'm asking at all, actually. I think there should be a way to not hide ALL injuries prior to a match, just to hide the ones that are set to occur during that match. If the database needs a flag for that, or whatever, that seems like a fine solution.

Could you just put it in at the last minute and code for the games to start at 7:58 instead of 8, for example? We'll still think the game started at 8 because that's what our schedule page tells us.

Kind of like when you know your grandparents are always a half hour late, so when dinner is at 4:30 you tell them it's at 4. ;)
