Wow...if you accidentally hit the sell button, it automatically TL's a player @ zero. Anything you can do to get the player back other than bid on him?

No transfer fees, so no reason not to just buy him back.

So if I bid an insane sum of money, nobody will out bid me and I get the player back at no cost?

Thanks,

Steve

Seems like this is less than ideal. For example, a player could TL someone and then just bid a huge amount at the last minute if the bids don't get high enough. Kind of a backdoor way of setting a reserve. Doesn't seem like a problem to let players be withdrawn before anybody bids, but once someone does, it doesn't really make sense to be able to remove them.

You make a good point, but we don't need a backdoor way of setting a reserve, we can list players for whatever price we want already.

Withdrawing players that don't have bids is in interesting idea, but seems like a lot more work than it's worth, and it could wreak havoc if people did it constantly.

Yeah. I don't see a major issue with the current system (although I see wozzvt's point). I think there are much more pressing issues facing the BBs right now. An overhaul of the transfer system can be looked at some time down the road.

It would be nice if the interface would at least ask you if you really intended to TL somebody. Right now, if you accidentally hit the sell button, he's on there.

That's a valid point. I fully support this!

Well, I bid $85k for him and somebody else still outbid me...I guess I have an extra $85k now. Not sure what he was worth...the market is pretty immature now.

Smells like a ploy to drive up player prices! ;)

I still don't know how much to bid for players. If I see a player I like, I just bid what I'm willing to pay.
