I've been searching around to see what it takes to create a Nash-like PG (a pass first, 10+ assist per game). Now, Nash is an excellent scorer so this player should have the ability to score when needs to. After looking through the TL, players that are strong in HA,PA,DR (13+ skill) and also equally strong in JS/JR (in another word a balanced player) tend to not have a high assist average. Those I found that have 10+ assist avg tend to have a more out of balanced skills. Here are some examples from the TL:

Balanced: *Sorry TL players are not allowed to be posted.*

Not balanced:

My search is limited to TL so there are a lot more players I don't have access to but this leads me to believe that a Nash like player is really hard to build and if you do want to build, you would have to somewhat give up the scoring aspect and focus on the passing. Is this a correct assessment? I would love hear what experience and/or opinion on this? Even better yet, if you have a 20+ pt/ 10+ asst player, please share how you achieved that. Thank you.

Sorry, I still have lots to learn. Those were meant for examples only. For my own info only , are you allowed to just copy&paste skills (I would assume no player's name or number)for the sake of discussion?

the problem in those all around players, that they need good team mates to pass the ball ;) I think if you put nash in a College team, he would be also the first option in scoring, so that he would take more shots and make less assist.

Another point is, that 10 Assist in Buzzerbeater are very high the most league have top player in this category around 7.

This is what I have noticed also and I'm wondering if this is training related and not BB engine. If teammates skills is an issue, I would assume PG on NT teams would produce much higher assist, but I don't see many (if any) 10+ assist avg. A 7 asst avg # is good to know. I will use this as a realistic target instead the 10+. :)

i don't think you could get this with a normal focus, where the PG don't pass everytime ;)

Also the 10+ guys are pretty rare, and i could promise in our league was some decent PG and just one made it close to this average one season.

Stevie is an absolute unique player and you won´t be able to "create" a clone of him.)

Seriously, I think the BB engine doesn´t fit to a 20+/10+ player at the moment.

But this is also related to the 48-70 mins they should play within 3 matches... If someone is playing, let's say, 23 minutes average per game, it's almost imposible to have 10 assits... ;)

That is a good point. The overall avg can be misleading. Though when I did my search, I did do a scan of all the games played (not just the avg number) and taking into account games with little minutes. I don't remember many coming close to a 10+ asst avg.
