I have draftet this player and im wondering how to train him. Is he too high to get maximum training as a small forward, and would be best of as a PF?? any advice/thoughts would be great. and if anyone have ideas how to do the most effective training of either SF/PF pleace share their thoughts;)

My analysis (fwiw): good OD and weak IS means he leans toward being a SF; work on raising ID to OD levels; raise JR and Passing skills; and bump in Driving would be nice -- and THEN he is ready to train. Depending on you handle it, mixing it with other trainees, etc., I would guess he could be 20 to 21 then. MVP potential means you can then develop decent / very good offensive skills (although being weak in both IS and JR means, I think, career limits to whether he works inside or is good outside -- I don't see how he can be both).

My advice: sell him!! He has MVP potential, and he is 18, so you will get 700-900K. and you could buy interesting 20-21 years old guys, with Starter / Star potentials. They could still be good trainees, and with better characteristics than the one you're having right now...

my choice is PF.

u will find the training on JR and OD is nightmare to him.

IS is pitiful but can be improved quickly bcz of his height.

Why guys with low potentials??? I would not do that and dont recommend the owner to either. And I would go as a sf.

because you get much better starting skills for the same money, and still can train then to a more then decent level. If you don't have the money for an elite trainee, i think this is a good way.

I agree, Sell him, his height indicates he would be a good Power Foward, however his skill indicates a Shooting gaurd/Outside Orientated Small foward.

I understand what you are saying, as it really is a function of how much $$$ you have, but at best this guys would be a short term player for training.

you could train an star for nearly 3 Seasons and allstar a bit more, i think thats ok and should be a level where you could play in the most competitions.
