Welcome to BB Malaysia. Looks like you just got your first win tonight.
Just a few pointers to get you started:

1. Read up on the Game Manual (at least two times)
2. Trim down your players. Fire any players that is $3K and below. But you need to make sure you have at least 11 players to manage your minutes
3. Try to get two 18 - 19 yo players from the market with minimum star potential for your training program. You should refer to the training segment of the following link http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...
4. Get a level 4 trainer and ensure you train only single position. You need to make sure your trainee gets a least 48 minutes at the position you wish to train as well.
5. For the positions that you don't train, try to get veteran players (26 to 32 yo) with at least $3.5K salary. But don't spend more than $50K as sometimes you get into a bidding war and you often end up bidding more than what a player is actually worth. $50K will be a good limit.

Don't worry so much about your results for this season. Just concentrate on your training program. If all goes well, you should have 2 good players in 2 seasons time.

Feel free to drop me a BBMail for more advice. Will be glad to help.

Can anyone explain what the offense tactics means?

For example: Princeton offense involves which positions? or key positions?

Also the new setting, during defence pg play as pg sg play as sg what is it for?
is there any effect for tactics?

copy from lowyat.net
hope anyone can answer as i am also confusing this new setting.. lol

previously, defensive settings are by default a straight matchup, eg PG will defend his PG counterpart, SG will defend SG and so forth.
Now, with this new settings, for eg, you can now ask your PG to defend against your opponent's super SG, knowing that your PG has better OD ratings than your SG, your PG have a better chance to keep your opponent's super scoring machine from making too much damage to your team. So in this case, you can optimize your defense against your opponent's offense.

Congrats! Don't worry. Keep training and you'll be able to match us in a few seasons time. The only teams which managed to get more than 5 or 6 wins per season in their 1st season in the MBBA are probably the teams who were in the MBBA before season 5 lol

Maybe most teams anyway.

Team KwaiWah joined BB in season 7.
We managed to reach MBBA during season 9 with 11 wins. :D

Actually Shim you should not worry so much about your win loss in MBBA. You should instead concentrate on your training regime. Once you have a solid training regime, you will be sure to stay in MBBA and be able to have more than 5-6 wins.

I notice you are still not sure on whether you are training inside or outside since you have both inside and outside 18-19 year olds. You need to decide and concentrate on your training regime. Even if at the cost of fielding your weaker trainees in order to get the full training minutes.

I see that Abdul Halim bin Abdullah (12177824) is not even getting played and he is 19yo. It is really a waste of young talent really.
