i have this player that is a beast as a sg but i was thinking that good sf's are very rare and he has the potential to be one. i already have a pretty good sf but should i try and train this guys with some sf skills now before his training period finishes up or should i just keep making him into a great sg?

You are right in that he has the potential to be both. But to be honest I think Shooting Guard is the way to go. To be an excellent SF in my opinion I think you need decent IS and ID (just my opinion though, many might disagree), and although the other stats are high, the time it would take to train IS and ID up to at least Strong isn't worth it when you could train JS and JR a few more pops each and be a top notch SG.

Hope that helps.

Forget it as SF. Poor ID/IS. Just work his OD/PA until will be 12/9on those. Dont waste your time making him SF

I agree with the others, he should be trained as a sg he does not have the IS and ID to be a good SF.
