So, assuming it is an across the board 10-15% salary increase (the announcement seems to suggest those amounts are only for the top players, but who knows), how will it impact your team? Will you have to trim some fat on your roster?

I was thinking of pushing my salaries to around 425K, will probably still do that, but it will mean I won't get the same talent that I was originally thinking of.

I know Torooo was talking about adding a $450K centre, I do not know if this will change his mind.

I assume they mean it's a 10-15% increase over all with the effect being more extreme (but not exceeding around 15%) at the top end of the salary scale.

I doubt it will effect me - my salary is already at an unbelievably lean $84,000, I won't be looking to promote for at least a few more seasons and my next acquisitions will be a high potential Canadian guard and a decent SF, neither of whom will have an immediate effect on my salary.

I wonder if the increase will be harsh enough to produces some deals for managers who are looking to buy or if the transfer market will be business as usual.

10%-15% increase will hurt my team. i won't be able to keep me team intact in division II with that increase. i possibly could make it work if i get promoted back up to the naismith, but i wouldn't be able to make any additions to help up there.

my team salary now is 343k and would most likely be around 380k next season after training this season. the additional 10-15% would force major changes for me as i'm not making much money in division II.

that could certainly throw a wrench in my plans to add such a player. although i imagine that the extra salary would be reflected in a lower transfer price, but who knows ...

It seems the 10-15% is only for the highest level players. The increase will be lower for lesser players, how much lower is anyone's guess.

i would guess it's still going to really affect my finances as i have 9 players currently over 20k a week salary unless i can win promotion, and stay mid level in naismith, my revenue wouldn't be enough to counter the salary increases my roster would see for next season. but who knows, maybe i'll get lucky!

You seem to be on the right path with a 13-0 record so far.

Hopefully I will not be affected much by the salary increases. I am currently one of the lower salaries in div II, but have a few guys that will be getting large raises.

I'm going to be screwed with Domzal's salary next season... he'll likely end up close to 200k/week as he reaches his full potential.
