Right now i have a very young team (26675), the problem becomes that now i don't know where to focus my training. I would like to make them all great players but I'm starting to realize that's not gonna happen. I have invested in a good trainer that has skill level: superior(5).

So now i have two players that i would like to focus my training on: (11799389), (11858578), they are both SG's. This breaks my heart because there will be so much wasted potential in the rest of the team. I have som fairly trainable PG's and SF's too that i can combine when training my SG's, but all of my big men(C & PF) won't get any training.

Now to my questions. Should i sell off my young big men and replace them with older players that i wouldn't bother training? How do you guys tackle this kind of problem, do you have older players on all but one or two positions so that you can concentrate training on just a few youngsters in those positions?

Help is much appreciated.

Think of your players as assets. They have the most value when they are younger when they can be trained the best. If they arn't being trained they gradually lose more and more value. So effectively u are wasting them. You could sell an 18 year old for $600,000, buying a replacement 29 year old with the exact same skills might cost $200,000 so u could be $400,000 better off. Or you could even sell your 18 year old and find a 29 year old with better skills who costs the same. So yes replacing non-trainee players with older players can be a good idea.

If you're just starting out with BB, then I would suggest focusing training on two positions (PG and SG in your case) This way you will have 4 good players after a few seasons (assuming you are training 2 PG's and 2 SG's and a reserve or two who get a few minutes) - This will strengthen your team faster than training 1 position at a time.
Once you have a few good players who you have trained, you should focus on single position training to get great players (possible U21 and NT players)

Sell your other young players that you are not going to train.
You can use this money to invest in older players, arena, staff, etc.

This is my advice at least, not what everyone does but I think it will make your team competitive.

Hope this helps

at this point i will recommend single position training, becuase at the draft he would get better and younger trainees so e need just theee of them now. Later he could decide if he stays one position or expand to two position training.

And if you train two position, at least get 5 full training spot, maybe with the 48min tactic a 6th one.

You have very perspective player Vadinho Paulista, you should him train in one position, with trainer min. lvl5, and start this trainind in OD, Then JS & JR, then DV and Passing.
Vadinho Paulista he is very young and have MVP potential, you can train him for many years, proubly to end of his carieer. This player have a chance for NT in future if you good train himm

i don't have him, but if you should start one position why starting with OD and then making instantly an two position training. For one position switch a lot betwen those things you can one position, and take JS and sometimes driving as rescue if your minutes ain't good.

Thanks guys! I will now focus the rest of this season on one position training to build up passing skills. Next season i will probably often train two positions, mostly JS. I'll try to get rid of som players and replace them with non trainee ones.

Why OD to Start?
OD is the slowest to pops and young player(18y.o) pops quickly. Also OD pops in only one type of training.

what havve the training speed to do with the start ;) if you have 14 weeks 10% faster training, it is eual for what skill you use it you will reach your target at the same time. if you train balanced even a bit earlier, because you got additional positive effects on training.

And i said something against JS as second training, if you have a single pos. programm.
