Hello everybody,

As you can see on my homepage I have, for some reason, been put in the Belgian league although I am a proud Luxemburger. I am studying and living in Belgium and the GMs did not believe me I am a Luxemburger.

Anyway, I am quite disappointed about the small number of managers in the Luxemburger league. As a result we cannot compete against the larger countries like Spain, Italy or the USA for instance. I will certainly not blame ☜w(^o^)W♥☻ and Soren for their poor results as NT and U21 managers. I think they are doing a great job with the few Luxemburger players they can find.

Next season will be the fourth season the Luxemburger BB community exists. As such we will finally have the opportunity to see the first generation of Luxemburger players reach maturity. This means that players who were 18 years old at the moment of the creation of the Luxemburger community will be 21 years old. If they had been trained the way they should have been we would have an acceptable U21 team next season. Unfortunately this is not the case. Most of these players have not been trained the way they deserved. It will take a few seasons more before we have a good U21 team, let alone a good NT.

The goal of my thread is to ask people who are involved in both the NT and the U21 (managers, staff members and people who want to see Luxembourg reach the level it deserves) what we could/should do to improve our two National Teams. As far as I am concerned I think it is high time we start developing a real long-term strategy to develop our talented players into decent ones.
The fact Luxembourg is such a small community forbids us to make any mistake. We cannot afford ourselves letting 18 year old talented players remain untrained. Larger countries can, they though have a bunch of players who could reach the U21 level We do not.
Nowadays the Luxemburger community has only 27 active managers. In other words, only 81 players from the next draft will be trained (if they are worth it). Out of these 81 players, how many will be worth of joining the U21? Very few. This is the reason why I personally think we should develop a Luxemburger team of managers (from Luxembourg or from elsewhere) who are willing to help our two National managers looking for decent players and helping the owners of those players to develop them as well as possible.

It would be very nice if a lot of managers would be involved in the developing of our community. I hope ☜w(^o^)W♥☻ and Soren will appreciate our involvement in the Luxembourg team. As I said above, I think it is high time we give Luxembourg the NT and U21 players it deserves!

See ya!

Burger Queen

PS: I am not yet a member of the Luxemburger squad, but I would really like to be part of the Luxemburger adventure on BB!

Congratulations ☜w(^o^)W♥☻ with your first two victories.

I didn't mean to minimize your work guys. All I want is to help Luxembourg become a great nation on BB. And that can only be done by involving a larger group of Luxemburgers (or people from abroad who want to help us) into the National Team staff (NT as well as U21). Also should you (or your staff) give clear guidelines to the owners of Luxemburger players as to how to train them.

Look, the Luxemburger community starts with a 9 seasons handicap compared to some countries. So, if we want to reach the European championship during Soren's next term, we will have to develop an "aggressive" strategy when it comes to the training of our most talented players or the scouting of Luxemburger players all over the world.
We can't accept seeing our best players being badly trained or not trained at all. We need to tell the owners of our players what kind of players we want, how we want them to be trained and so on.

That's terrible, have you tried contacting them and sending some sort of proof of your nationality? Maybe the scanning of a document, or maybe you could try logging in the next time you're on Luxembourg so they can verify it by IP address...
Just some suggestions, it's a shame you can't play on your country's league.

Good luck!
