Oh, I loved the Die Hard series... ;P

I am sorry, but that's not possible. Releasing specific players would be unfair. I understand it is frustrating. I think the best you can hope for is that he gets released to the market through a free agency at a later time, but he have to end up within the thresholds for release. And I don't think he will be released unless a major inflation hits the market.
