Game Shape, depends on the minutes if I have read some of the threads here. Certain players deserve certain amount of minutes, and they know that. So if a star is coming off the bench and getting 28 minutes in 2 games, as opposed as upper 50's it will be lower.

Well does BB, play in a role, of players having hot streaks and cold streaks.? I have a PG, who has gone 8-10 on 3 pointers this last week? Just wondering if anyone else thinks hot and cold streaks exist, or if it is all on matchups.

It's based on matchups, but the GE is fairly complex.

During the game if a player is seemingly hitting everything he shoots, the coach will shift the defense to try and compensate for this. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't depending on the skills available for the coach to work with at any time. That can free up someone else on the team to shoot more open shots, etc. This can lead to hot and cold streaks shifting throughout the game pretty easily.

I believe I have read somewhere (BB-edjucation maybe???) that there is some sort of hot streak mechanism in the GE. Please don't take this as fact, because my memory of what and where I read is vague, at best.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I don't recall commenting on this.

Momentum exists in the GE, so this could in a way be "hot" or "cold" streaks.
